IMT Tractor hydraulics help is hard to find.?
Can anyone tell me how or where to find the way an IMT 560 tractor’s hydraulics function. there are several valves and combinations. It has a front end loader and four rear remotes. 60 h.p. I have the service, owners, and parts manual for it but it is not very helpful.Website for them is not available. Any clues or thoughts welcome.
I would bet they function the same way any other tractor’s does, I doubt you have 4 remotes, you probably have 2 remotes, dual acting, is the loader hooked up to the remotes? Or hooked up some place else? Did some one tap in and add and extra valve or two so they didn’t have to use the remotes for the loader.
Not much you need more than 2 remotes for on a 60 HP tractor so that is why I think you only have 2, on the bigger ones we use 4 when planting corn, one lifts the planter out of the ground, one runs a little “air compressor” and the other 2 lift the markers one each side one at a time….. The old planter ran the air pump off the PTO.
I think the basic design was taken from a massey ferguson 65, think there are some parts that will exchange, but never owned one of those so never tried it..
