HELP!! How do I get rid of “Japanese Bamboo”?
I have a huge patch of Japanese Bamboo. It grows about 4′ tall and has a massive root system. I have tried Roundup and Weed-be-Gone, at two or three times the normal strength with no permanent effect. Also tried Ortho Brush killer, which worked a bit better but still did not do much. I even tried spraying with straight bleach with little success. I asked a local farmer if he knew where I could get ahold of a tanker truck full of Agent Orange, and when I told him what I was trying to eliminate, he just shook his head and said, “Good luck!” (If you don’t know what Agent Orange is just ignore that part….some of you reading this WILL get the concept!!) I hope someone can help….
