Yard Machines 18″ Tiller will not run?
I have a Yard Machines 18″ tiller with a 3.5 HP Briggs and Stratton engine that will not start. I have changed the air filter, spark plug and completely cleaned the gas tank. I pulled the tank and the intake screen was completely clogged, but is clean now. What happens is that it will start if you pour gas or starting fluid into the carburetor, but it only runs for a few seconds. I’m thinking that the fuel is not getting into the carburetor but I can’t figure out where. Any advice would be great including starting suggestions.
Probably the carb like the first answer said, but it might be worth trying to disconnect the fuel line at the carb and see if gas flows out.
If no gas then look for a filter or the fuel line could be clogged.
